there once was a club called science olympiad with a pretty chill teacher named Mrs. Herron. these students in this club were called olympiads. they went to competitions and placed 5th in state. considering that was their first competition they did great. a particular student named Hadley was in two meets. the first was called dynamic planet, this had to deal with oceanography and different elements of the planet. they placed 6th in this meet. the other meet was green generation. green generation dealt with our ecosystems and pollution caused by humans and how we can reverse it. they placed 5th in state. now what you have to understand is that Hadley was working on a completely different subject for competition but they invitational did not have this meet. so, she volunteered to do dynamic planet and gain us some points, four days before competition. two days before competition she volunteered for green generation. let that sink in. going in to these competitions she was ready to lose for the team. instead she did really well.
the moral of the story is pretty much that you can do anything you set your mind to. its not everyday you go into competition not knowing and coming out close to top.
